When starting our project, we came across an amazing online application called emaze (www.emaze.com) that provides the students with the possibility of showing their work in a more suitable way, giving them the opportunity of “touring” the museum. This fact made us change our first choice.
Now students are learning to create hyperlinks to navigate around the museum, link to other web pages in the Internet and to use google drawing to create more complex images, interacting with different applications at the same time. They are also using Google classroom where we upload articles and videos and then they upload them to their Virtual Museum.
After having our Cybersmart sessions, we discussed the danger of using youtube at their age, so we offered them watchkin.com as a safer way to search for related videos. We are working so hard! We can’t wait to see the museums ready!
