PBL “LA VICUÑITA”

Our project is coming to an end and after spending nearly 5 weeks exploring, researching and investigating about “La vicuñita” as the children love to call them, we have to say that this project exceeded our expectations . The children were highly engaged not only with the vicuña and its characteristics and habitat, but most important with the knowledge of learning about conservation of a spieces. Learning that when people get together and work as the scientists we saw in the videos did , they could change the fate of the vicuñas and now they are no longer in danger of extintion.

This matter motivated  the children to change the lyrics of the song that had triggered the subject of our investigation (La Vicuñita).

We made a new song and shared it with the people who helped us with our project. But we also wanted to spread the good news to other children so we contacted a former music teacher from our school Carolina Buratti. She was delighted with our new version of the song and told us she was going to teach it to all her pupils.IMG_0815-1 So…. without further ado… we proudly present our song
