Y6 Visited the MuPSA

ASASSlearnings an introductory part to our Unit of Study on Diversity and Tolerance and coinciding with the month of September when we celebrate our school anniversary, Y6 Olivos students learnt about our school history and visited the MuPSA (St Andrew’s Presbyterian Museum) which was officially inaugurated in August of the current year.

They applied the  “I See, I think and I Wonder” Visible Thinking Routine which helped them stimulate curiosity when making observations on objects and school history images. While observing them carefully, students answered the following questions:

  • What do you see?
  • What do you think about that?
  • What does it make you wonder?

To find the answers, the students were able to research in books, documents and objects. To show what they learnt, they created interactive timelines using the tool Timeline J.S.

Please, click on the following link to have a look at the timelines and at the pictures taken at the MuPSA.
